Wonderful views of the bay from the room, and the rooftop movie nights were a fun surprise. The elevators were slow and crowded during peak times, making it frustrating to get around. Great access to local attractions made our stay enjoyable.

Noise from the street was noticeable even on the 17th floor. Bathroom lighting was excellent, and extra drawer space was convenient. the TV streaming options didn't function. While the room ambiance was calming, the uncovered plug posed a safety hazard, leading to an unfortunate incident. Staff responsiveness was high, but resolutions to issues felt lacking in personal touch.

The location was amazing! We could enjoy a complimentary one-hour bike ride and kayak, plus the proximity to Rady Shell was so convenient. We loved the gorgeous view of the bay from our room on a higher floor. It was a perfect spot to watch SeaWorld fireworks and see the ships in the harbor.

The room service was a bit disappointing. We experienced missing items like shampoo and toilet paper, and the food took over an hour to arrive.

I couldn't believe how noisy my neighbors were! For hours, I heard them shouting and laughing as if they were throwing a party. Even security couldn't calm them down, and I barely got any sleep-definitely not the peaceful getaway I hoped for.

Had an amazing weekend stay, including a delicious breakfast with plenty of options and a beautiful view of the bay. The location was ideal, close to downtown and within walking distance of many attractions. the gym was well, equipped and the complimentary water bottles were a nice touch.

Experienced some minor issues, like the aging furnishings and unexpected charges upon check, out. The check, in process was lengthy, and the added cost of parking was steep.

They have a fire pit overlooking the bay! Perfect for roasting marshmallows after a spa day. The lobby looks fancy, with marble and grand paintings. I could relax at the pool with a great bay view.

Oh, sure, no parking, but paying $45 upfront for a smooth getaway was thrilling.

The room we booked was pretty comfortable overall. The bed was decently cozy, and the architecture of the building was quite impressive. there were a few things that could have been better. the housekeeping service was a bit of a letdown. They only did the basics like making the beds and changing towels, but didn't really deep clean the room unless asked. This was a bit strange to me as I expected more from a hotel of this standard. The bathroom definitely needed more attention. The wallpaper was falling off, and there was some rust on the metal in the shower, which was not very appealing. On the bright side, the staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. They were always ready to assist with any requests we had. The breakfast buffet was also a standout - fresh and with a wide variety of options to choose from. there were some safety concerns that disrupted our stay. There was an uncovered plug in the room that caused an accident, resulting in my child getting hurt. Maintenance did come to fix it, but the incident was quite unsettling and affected our experience at the hotel. the stay was a bit of a mixed bag. While there were aspects that I enjoyed, like the friendly staff and good breakfast, the issues with cleanliness and safety were significant drawbacks. Hopefully, these areas can be improved. the grand hyatt was super clean and the location was awesome. it's close to a shopping area - the marina, and an adjacent park - with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. the staff had great local insights and the service at brew 31 was excellent.

we were upgraded to a gorgeous bay view room and there was a free bottle of champagne waiting for us. the staff took such great care of us, and the entire stay, staff and amenities were amazing. the location was perfect and the conference area had lots of outdoor space. the provision of USB sockets was excellent.

My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday at the hotel's luxurious cabana. We had a fantastic time with the attentive server, delicious food, and great pool facilities. The rooftop view was fantastic and we enjoyed our lovely experience. I'll recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing time at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla! The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The self-parking was easy, and the lift straight to the lobby was convenient. Our room on the 27th floor had a beautiful view of the bay, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast selection was fantastic, and the pool area was superb. Special shoutout to Caleb for the great service! The location was perfect, with easy access to petco park and the gaslamp quarter. an unforgettable experience.

That our room key card was very sensitive and didn't work properly. We had to constantly go down and get it updated, which was a bit inconvenient.
